JUPE at the Garage, Islington
‘Thisis our time this is our night’…Yes JUPE, it certainly was! Last night saw the Irish rockers play their first UK show at the Garage in Islington. They exploded on the stage with their new single ‘Rocket’ to kick things off which immediately made the crowd take notice with their 80s infused synth pop rhythms and sing a long choruses.

I’m a sucker for the Irish accent anyway, but their classic Irish Charm just gleamed through in their performance. Front man Tim got the crowd involved getting them to sing along and chant back. They have a number of hits just waiting to be released from the upcoming album out later in the year with ‘Green Light’ and ‘Across the World’ to name just a couple of stand outs from the show. Their infectious pop melodies combined with charming, feel good lyrics, has seen them already being compared to fellow Irish rockstars The Script.
Whilst this was the guys first London performance, it can only be one of many, many more to come. They’ve shared stages with massive hit makers Mumford and Sons, and have been one of the most played acts on Irish radio, so this is just a taste of what the guys are going to bring to the UK market and I can’t wait for more!
