American Young is the inspired partnership of Kristy Osmunson and Jon Stone, who have been steadily building a fanbase for their distinctive folk-country. With a European tour in March alongside British country songstress Sasha McVeigh and US blues-rockers Loveless Effect schedule, we caught up with Kristy to take her on a trip down musical memory lane.

When You Say Nothing At All by Alison Krauss.

Imagine by John Lennon.
Which artist/band has been the most inspirational to you?
I would have to say Coldplay has shaped my adult life.

Justin Bieber. His new record is like crack candy. Can’t get enough

Justin Bieber would be awesome!
