Stunning vocalist Anna Mar releases great new single

When it comes to releasing cover versions of other people’s songs, it’s something of a risky business. With original songs, there’s a freshness and lack of expectation. But with cover versions, the marker has already been laid down.

 

In the case of Anna Mar and her take on Damien Marley’s ‘There For You’, the risk was well worth the reward. This hypnotically brilliant version outstrips the original in every way, and is endorsed by Marley himself. There’s little surprise that it’s being playing a lot on Romanian TV and radio (Mar’s home country). The track is now out worldwide on iTunes.
