Lina made history when she became the first American-Palestinian to win The Voice in Israel, thus making her the first American-Palestinian to win any format there by public vote. Since then she has garnered famous fans including Alicia Keys and Adam Lambert, and has now served up the most joyously infectious pop anthem of the year. What song reminds you most of your childhood?
All songs on Avril Lavigne’s album Let Go. I spent years listening to this album. One of my faves of all times!
Which song inspired you to become a musician/singer?
Super cliche- but Listen from DREAMGIRLS. Made me cry a lot during my teenage years.
Which song do you wish you had written?
Don’t Stop Me Now- Queen. Best song ever!
Which artist/band has been the most inspirational to you?
Beyonce. Hard working, she never stops, perfectionist, and she is the most powerful artist out there.
Which song/album currently dominates your attention?
Ed Sheeran- Divide. Just like everyone else.
Who would you most like to collaborate with?
Ed Sheeran. And marry him if possible.
